Internal Data Sharing
Project Discription |
The PHUSE Good Transparency Practice (GTP) white paper provides a principle-based framework for the responsible sharing of clinical trial data across internal, external, and public contexts. However, practical guidance for applying these principles in internal data sharing scenarios remains limited. This project will address this gap by illustrating how existing GTP principles can be applied to internal data flows involving anonymised data reuse. Using realistic, scenario-based examples—such as cross-functional data access, internal analytics, affiliate sharing, and collaboration with trusted partners—the project will promote consistent and proportionate approaches to governance, data controls, and accountability. The outputs will support organisations in reducing variability in interpretation, enabling responsible internal data reuse, and maintaining alignment with GTP principles across all data sharing activities. The project will remain principle-based and will not introduce new frameworks or prescriptive requirements, focusing instead on practical application through clear and structured scenarios. |
