PHUSE Working Groups Operations Committee

The Working Groups Operations Committee oversees the entirety of the PHUSE Working Groups at an implementation and delivery level.

At a high level the Operations Committee provides the following:

Supports the Working Groups and Project Teams.
Act as a forum for individual Working Groups to share current highlights, challenges and opportunities with the Leadership Committee to encourage and facilitate cross-Working Group collaboration.
Act as a forum for discussing processes, information about other Projects, or upcoming activities which can be shared with the Project Leads and the wider Working Group community.
Act as a forum for planning Working Groups participation in PHUSE events.
Support the socialisation of all Working Groups deliverables.

PHUSE Board of Directors and PHUSE Office

The Working Groups Director, Chris Price, chairs the Working Groups Operations Committee and the Working Groups Leadership Committee. Chris Price also represents the Working Groups on the PHUSE Board of Directors. Chris oversees the PHUSE Working Groups' operations and ensures that deliverables advance the body of knowledge in the industry.

The PHUSE Office contribute to the organisation and general running of the Projects within the Working Groups. The PHUSE office generate meeting minutes, agendas, support in the review process and publication of draft/final deliverables. The team also maintain the Advance Hub and support the production of online events.

Chris Price Working Groups Director Chris has been involved with PHUSE since 2008, contributing to the Conference Committee and SDEs before chairing the 2015 Annual Conference in Vienna. Subsequently, Chris has contributed to and co-led Working Groups. In 2017 Chris was nominated to the role of Working Groups Director.
Lauren White Working Groups Manager Lauren joined PHUSE in 2017 and works to ensure efficient delivery of all Working Groups activities. Lauren leads the team whilst also providing support to the Leadership & Deliverable and Working Groups Operations Committees.	Lucy Marks Senior Project Coordinator Lucy joined PHUSE in 2024 and supports the Leadership & Deliverable and Working Groups Operations Committees. Lucy also contributes to the organisation of the annual PHUSE US Connect and oversees the operations of the Working Groups activities.

Alex Pearce

Project Assistant

Since joining PHUSE in 2023, Alex has supported the activities within the following Working Groups, Emerging Trends & Technologies, Nonclinical Topics, Data Visualisation and Open Source Technology and Risk Based Quality Management.

Nicola Newton

Project Coordinator

Nicola joined PHUSE in July 2023 and supports the following Working Groups; Optimising the Use of Data Standards, Real World Evidence and Safety Analytics.
